I was born and raised in Owensboro and attended Owensboro High School. At Western Kentucky University, I completed my undergraduate education and received my medical training at the University of Kentucky. I did my internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky in the University of Kentucky Medical Center. I am board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and an active fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P).
My wife, Pam, and I have three children: Rachel, Benjamin, and Adam. Together, we spend much of our time enjoying our church, traveling, swimming, and boating.
Lynette K. Martin, M.D., F.A.A.P.
I was born and raised in Chicago. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois then went on the medical school at Northwestern University. I completed my pediatric training at Case Western University in Cleveland then served as a pediatrician in the Air Force for four years before moving to Owensboro. Currently, I am board certified in pediatrics and am an active fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P).
My husband, Dr. Bill Martin (orthopedic surgeon), and I have four children, Nate, Erin, Daniel and Abby. We spend our time away from work at church, keeping up with our children, bicycling and traveling (often to Chicago for deep dish pizza).
Amy H. Ray, M.D., F.A.A.P.
I was born and raised in Owensboro and attended Apollo High School. I then completed my undergraduate training at Kentucky Wesleyan College and medical training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. I completed my residency training at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. I am board-certified in pediatrics.
My husband Ed and I have three children. We enjoy church, golf, tennis, traveling, and visiting with family and friends.
Andrea Powell Johnston, M.D., F.A.A.P.
I was born and raised in Owensboro and attended Daviess County High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. I then completed my Master’s degree and my medical degree at the University of Louisville. I completed my pediatric residency at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. I am board-certified in Pediatrics.
My husband Mark and I have a son, Cooper, and a daughter, Bailey. We enjoy traveling, walking and biking together, music and theater, and spending time with our family and friends.
Jeremiah R. Mason, D.O., F.A.A.P.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Murray State University and received my medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my pediatric residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital at the University of Louisville.
I am originally from Henderson County, while my wife Beth is an Owensboro native. We have four children and are happy to return home to western Kentucky.
Amanda Murphy, PA-C
I was born and raised in Owensboro, graduating from Owensboro Catholic High School. I completed my undergraduate degree at Brescia University and went on to the University of Kentucky, receiving a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. After finishing my training, I started working with Dr. Houston and have been there for the last 13 years. I am board-certified by the NCCPA. My husband Michael and I have four children: Ben, Nolan, Mady, and Elly. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends.
Josie Kroeger, APRN
I was born and raised in Indiana. I graduated with my BSN from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005. I then obtained my MSN from Western Kentucky University in 2011. I am certified through the AANP with my family nurse practitioner certification. I have been working in the pediatric field since 2008, and love working with children. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Nic. We have three children: Eli, Elliet, and Wes. I am a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, and being outdoors.
Adair Price, MMS, PA-C
I have worked at Owensboro Pediatrics since graduating from PA school in December 2014. I attended Saint Louis University, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and dietetics before graduating from SLU’s Physician Assistant School. I am a certified Physician Assistant and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. I enjoy running, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. My husband Harrison and I very much enjoy being parents to our son.
Kevin Pinto, APRN, CPNP-PC
I was born and raised in Rochester, New York. I met my wife, Meredith, who is from Owensboro, at the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville, KY, as summer camp counselors. While completing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Pediatrics from the University of Kentucky, I worked as a pediatric oncology floor nurse at UK Children’s Hospital. I am board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
My wife and I have one son, Henry. We enjoy going on walks with our dog Murphy, cooking, traveling, soccer, and visiting with friends and family.
