I’m Whitney and I am a Physician Associate (PA) at our office! I was born here in Owensboro, raised in Hawesville and Knottsville, and graduated from Daviess County High School. I went on to run cross country and track for the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Health Promotions and my Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. I have always had a passion for pediatrics and emergency medicine, so I completed PA rotations focused on areas such as OBGYN, MFM, NICU, and Pediatrics, among several others. I am a board-certified PA-C by the NCCPA, licensed by KBML, and an active member in the Society for Pediatric PA-Cs, KAPA, and AAPA. I also am certified in PALS and NRP. I have been with Owensboro Pediatrics since 2023. Prior to this my background was in Emergency Medicine. It is a tremendous gift to serve our community and an immense privilege to provide care for your sweet children!

My husband is also an Owensboro native. We have two children and pray we are blessed with more in the future. We also have one dog who keeps us all busy! We enjoy spending our time together being outside, traveling to new places, signing up for fun runs & local races, watching sporting events, and fellowshipping with our church families. We are grateful to be back in our hometown surrounded by our family & friends!

I was born and raised in Owensboro, graduating from Daviess County High School. I completed my undergraduate degree at Western Kentucky University and my Masters of Science in Medicine at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. I am board-certified as a physician assistant by the NCCPA. After training in Tennessee, I started my career as a PA in Louisville before finally making my way back home to Owensboro and joining Owensboro Pediatrics where I was taken care of as a child. I married my very best friend, Hunter, in 2023 and we are expecting our first baby girl this year in 2025. We enjoy snuggling with our first furry child (our silver lab named Iris), spending our Sundays at church, and spending time with family and friends. I feel so blessed to give back to my community taking care of all the sweet kids!
