Owensboro Pediatrics doctors all earn NRP Certification
All of the pediatricians at Owensboro Pediatrics have recently been recertified as providers under the The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) program.
The NRP is an educational program jointly sponsored with the American Heart Association (AHA). The course has been designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn to hospital staff who care for newborns at the time of delivery, including physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists. Since the inception of the NRP in 1987, over 3 million individuals in the United States and a countless number of individuals abroad have been trained in NRP.
One of the goals of our group is to stay up to date in the latest methods in providing care for our patients. All of the doctors at Owensboro Pediatrics are currently certified in Neonatal Resuscitation, Pediatric Advanced Life support and Basic Life support.
